Although, you might not have been chosen for the position, they  made a rational decision based on:

– what they know

– what they needed

– who they are

– what they believed was going to work best

– and probably a handful of other factors that felt right to them

I think when we can come to terms that their decision was the correct one, the easier it might be to find the right opportunity for us.
