I think Kevin Kelly (prolific writer and co-founder of Wired magazine) said it as good as anyone.

“Your best job will be one that you were unqualified for because it stretches you. In fact, only apply to jobs you are unqualified for”.

If you are waiting around for only job descriptions that state: no Salesforce experience needed.

Odd are that you’ll be waiting for a long time, as those are so few and far between, and when they are in fact, listed, hundreds, if not thousands, are applying.

Rather, find those where you think you have a shot.

I think if you ask those new or experienced if they met all the requirements of their current position before starting, most would probably say “no”.
