Is this still a good title?
Nowadays, aren’t Salesforce Admins doing so much more then just “administering” a Salesforce org?
Many times: designing, implementing, building, testing, troubleshooting, etc.
Maybe it’s time for a new/different title, as the responsibilities of a Salesforce Admin continue to evolve.
Could the Salesforce Admin title use some more prestige when the role is more complex?
For reference, for the older generation who come from an on-premise CRM world (Siebel, Peoplesoft, etc.), the Administrator was typically responsible for keeping processes on the servers online, running/monitoring jobs, capturing logs, etc. and usually not building “things”, and why this idea came to mind.
