Salesforce App Exchange Product Support
This past week, I’ve heard a few Salesforce customers become disappointed about the lack of product support they’re receiving on some of the applications they’re using from the App Exchange.
Especially, when the managed package is locked down, causing the customer to be “stuck”, or having to build undesired workarounds.
I believe some who put products on the App Exchange isn’t their primary “thing”, so that may be a part of it.
What has been your experience?
It could be a case by case experience, as there’s 3965 apps available
Have you encountered poor support before?
Any suggestions on how to navigate through this?
I don’t think, “move on, find something comparable” is necessarily the best (or easiest) option in most cases.
