Titles vs $

When you’re looking to make a change, does the title of the new position carry much weight to you?

As long as the responsibilities, career progression, and salary are in line with what you’re looking for.

Also, do you feel as you get further along in your career, titles matter more?

Because if you take a step back in title, it may be harder to get ahead on your next position?

I think there’s so much variation from company to company and position to position, it’s often not very linear.

Sometimes we hear, “You could call me <insert title here>, if the money’s right, I’m all ears!”
